Licence Transfer to another device

Each licence contains a certain number of tokens, agreed at time of purchase. When software is activated on a device by inputting a licence key, a token is consumed. When a licence has no more tokens, it’s impossible to activate new machines using this key.

To activate new devices, there are two solutions :

  • Disactivate old unused devices, in order to free up tokens and reuse the same licence key (licence transfer).
  • Obtain a new licence key.
Most of our applications allow you to disactivate a device and free up a token automatically. To perform this operation :

  • You need an Internet connection on the device to disactivate it (and this connection should not be blocked or filtered (see: Network Settings).
  • Start the application then access Settings (image icon to the top right): the Licence tab allows you to disactivate the Licence linked to your device).
If this tab is unavailable, it’s because it’s not yet possible to automatically disactivate the licence from the software. Please contact us so that we can perform a manual disactivation.

To carry this out :

  • You need an Internet connection on the device to disactivate it (and this connection should not be blocked or filtered (see: Network Settings).
  • Start the application to disactivate it, and carefully note the application start time.
  • Then let us know this time by sending us a ticket (Licence key topic), and we can proceed to it’s disactivation.
